＜jidai＞ Upcycle Fire Hose _Smartphone Holder / Beige Green x Black Leather

[Upcycle project in conjunction with Sakai City, Osaka] This series began with the Sakai City Fire Department asking if the hoses that had reached the end of their useful life and were scheduled to be discarded could be reborn. 

"Fire hose × Genuine leather“ 

Fire hoses that have reached the end of their useful life still have a beautiful appearance. The hose is approximately 2 mm thick, with rubber material on the inside and a heat-resistant material on the outside. The durable fire hose would be the perfect material for a bag, as it would protect the items inside. The use of genuine leather for the combination material increases the value of the bag in terms of appearance and feel. The leather is also washable, so it is resistant to water. 

-A simply designed vertical smartphone holder-

The main material is supple washable leather, and the design is accented by parts of a dismantled fire hose that run from the body through the bottom.

The pockets are hook and open, and a single action allows you to smoothly insert and remove your phone.

The shoulder strap uses rounded leather, and can be adjusted at the knot position. The caulking with the original jidai engraving accentuates the bag.

*Please note that there are stains and scratches on the fabric due to the fire hose that was actually used in the field.
