Characterized by its fine grain and moist, smooth texture, it is thinner than adult cowhide yet boasts dense fibers and remarkable strength. It molds to your hand with use, allowing you to enjoy its beautiful aging process over time. This leather is treated with sumi-zome, a traditional Japanese dyeing technique. The unique, deep black achieved with sumi ink stands apart from plain black, creating a subtle, elegant expression. Hand-dyed, each piece exhibits distinct shades and variations in color, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind character. The natural texture of the sumi ink enhances the inherent feel of the leather.
