Aizome is a dyeing process that uses the indigo plant, a member of the tapeworm family. Using soft sheepskin, the process of hand-dyeing and dipping in a barrel of indigo dye was repeated three times to produce the elegant indigo dye “Japan Blue,” a traditional Japanese color. Since it is hand-dyed, the pattern and coloring are different for each one. It is a basic folded wallet that can hold coins, but also has space for separate bills and many places for cards, making it a popular product for both men and women.
